How quickly can you dispatch the emergency ambulance?
At Nova Ambulans we provide 24/7 private emergency ambulance service in Istanbul. On average we dispatch a fully equipped ambulance to the Asian side in about 9 minutes and to the European side in about 12 minutes. We monitor traffic and weather in real time to send the closest crew, but actual response times can vary with call volume and exceptional situations.
Is a physician available in the ambulance?
Our standard emergency ambulances are staffed with paramedics and EMTs. If the case requires it, we can also assign a physician to the crew as long as you let us know in advance on the form.
Which equipment is available on board?
Core equipment: defibrillator, cardiac monitor, ventilator, and advanced life support sets. Trauma/transport: immobilisation boards, scoop stretcher, cervical collars. Medications: essential emergency medication kit. All vehicles comply with Turkish Ministry of Health regulations and are inspected regularly.
Can the service be covered by insurance?
Many private health insurance policies can cover private ambulance services in emergencies or when there is a doctor’s referral. You pay us first, then submit the invoice we issue to your insurer for reimbursement if your policy allows. For contracted corporate partners, we can work with insurers on a direct billing basis.
