KVKK Camera Recording Disclosure Notice

1. Data Controller

As Nova Sağlık Yönetim Danışmanlık ve Medikal Ürünler Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi("Nova Ambulans"), in our capacity as data controller under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we record video footage via security cameras in our ambulance vehicles. This disclosure notice has been prepared to fulfill our obligation under Article 10 of the KVKK.

2. Recording Areas and Method

Video recording is performed in the following areas of our ambulance vehicles:

Front cabin (driver compartment): For driving safety and documentation of traffic incidents
Exterior view: For traffic safety, scene documentation, and vehicle security

No camera recording is performed in the patient cabin (rear compartment). No audio recording is performed.

Recordings are maintained in accordance with the Ambulances and Emergency Health Vehicles and Ambulance Services Regulation.

3. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Ensuring employee and patient safety
Monitoring driving safety and documenting traffic incidents
Auditing and improving service quality
Meeting the requirements of Ministry of Health regulations and Ambulance Services Regulation
Use as evidence in judicial or administrative investigations
Conducting insurance processes
Fulfilling occupational health and safety obligations

4. Legal Basis

The personal data processing activity through camera recording is based on the following paragraphs of Article 5(2) of the KVKK:

(a) Explicitly stipulated by law (Ambulance Services Regulation, OHS Law No. 6331)
(ç) Necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation
(e) Necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right
(f) Necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller

Explicit consent is not required within this scope.

5. Retention Period

Camera recordings are retained for a maximum of 30 (thirty) days depending on the recording device capacity. At the end of this period, recordings are automatically deleted by being overwritten.

Recordings requested within the scope of judicial or administrative investigations are separately preserved until the relevant process is completed.

6. Transfer of Personal Data

Camera recordings are not shared with third parties as a rule. However, transfer may be made in the following cases:

Upon legal request of authorized public institutions (Police, Prosecutor's Office, Court)
In Ministry of Health audits and investigations
To insurance companies within the scope of damage/accident files
To SSI and OHS institutions in workplace accident investigations

7. Data Security Measures

Only authorized management personnel can access camera recordings
Recording devices are protected with encrypted access
Unlawful processing and unauthorized access to recordings are prevented
Necessary technical and administrative measures are taken for data preservation

8. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the following rights under Article 11 of the KVKK:

Learning whether your personal data is processed
Requesting information about it if processed
Learning the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
Knowing the third parties to whom they are transferred
Requesting correction if processed incompletely or incorrectly
Requesting deletion when the reasons for processing no longer exist
Objecting to a result arising against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems
Requesting compensation for damages due to unlawful processing
