Cookie Policy

Version
1.1
Published

In brief

  • Cookies needed for the site to work (language preference, your cookie choice) are always on.
  • We use analytics and advertising cookies and similar technologies by default; if you do not want them, you can turn them off in Preferences.
  • On your first visit a cookie notice is shown at the bottom of the page. "OK" closes the notice and changes nothing; "Preferences" lets you turn the analytics and advertising categories off separately. Turning these cookies off does not stop you from using the site.
  • You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of each page.

1. Data Controller and Purpose of This Policy

This policy has been prepared by the data controller, Nova Sağlık Yönetim Danışmanlık ve Medikal Ürünler Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Nova Ambulans"), under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. Our contact details are in Section 1 of the General Privacy Notice.

Its purpose is to explain why personal data obtained automatically through cookies and similar technologies on www.novaambulans.com is processed and how you can manage your choices. For other processing relating to website visitors (for example, the contact form), see the General Privacy Notice – Website Visitors.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a site you visit saves in your browser. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies delete themselves after a set time. First-party cookies are set by our site itself, third-party cookies by another domain (for example, Google or Meta).

Besides cookies, our site uses the following similar technologies, which follow the same rules:

  • Local storage (localStorage): an area in your browser that keeps information until you delete it.
  • Measurement code and pixels: small pieces of code that send events such as a page view or a button click to a provider.
  • Measurement requests (beacons): requests sent in the background when a page loads or when you click a button.

Note on Nova Ambulans advertising cookies: If you have not turned advertising cookies off and you came to our site from a Google ad, your visitor identifier, ad click identifier, ad source, landing page and campaign parameters, together with your IP address and browser details, are recorded in our operations system in İstanbul. While advertising cookies are on, whether or not you came from an ad, the phone, WhatsApp, email or form button you click and the page are also recorded together with your visitor identifier. These records are matched with the phone call that follows the click. If the matched call is a real service request, the ad click identifier, the call time and a conversion value are reported to Google Ads; your phone number and the content of the call are not sent. Visit and click records are deleted after 90 days; the ad click identifier and ad source matched to a call are kept as part of the call record for the retention period of call records. Details: General Privacy Notice, Sections 4.5 (purpose 12) and 4.7.

MapsKVKK Art. 5(1): the explicit consent you give by loading the map

We use analytics and advertising cookies by default; we do not ask for your consent before your visit. These cookies run until you turn them off in Preferences.

6. Transfers Abroad

Data collected through the cookies and technologies whose "Abroad" column names a country or says "Abroad" is transferred to that provider's servers abroad. These transfers are made in line with KVKK Article 9, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contracts. Details are in General Privacy Notice, Section 8.

7. Managing Your Choices

  • First visit: A cookie notice with OK and Preferences buttons is shown at the bottom of the page. "OK" closes the notice; analytics and advertising cookies stay on. In the panel that "Preferences" opens you can turn the analytics and advertising categories off separately and save with "Save choices".
  • Changing later: You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of each page.
  • Turning a category off: When you turn a category off, your choice is saved and the cookies of that category on our domain (_ga, _ga_QC0NG9HCMG, _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _fbp, _fbc, nova_ad_attribution_v) and the nova_ad_attribution local storage entry are deleted, and the page reloads so that tools already running stop. While the category stays off, they are deleted again on every page load, the category's code is not loaded and nothing new is written. We cannot delete cookies that Google and Meta keep on their own domains; you can delete them in your browser settings.
  • Notice shown again: The cookie notice is shown again after 12 months or when this policy changes materially. Categories you turned off stay off.
  • Record of your choice: Your choice and its date are kept only in your browser.

Browser settings

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, your language and cookie choice will not be remembered.

8. Your Rights and How to Apply

Your rights under KVKK Article 11 and how to apply are in General Privacy Notice, Sections 12 and 13 and the Data Subject Request Form. You do not need to make a request to turn analytics or advertising cookies off.

9. Updates

When we add a new cookie or measurement tool to our site, or change an existing one, we update this policy and, where needed, show the cookie notice again.
