Ambulance service under physician supervision for critical and high-risk patient transfers. Safe transport with active medical intervention capability.

Doctor-accompanied ambulance is a patient transfer service performed under physician supervision inside the ambulance for critical or high-risk transfers. In addition to the standard ambulance crew, an emergency medicine specialist or relevant specialist physician is present, providing active medical intervention capability throughout the transfer.
Unlike standard ambulance transfer, doctor-accompanied ambulance provides active medical intervention capability with physician presence; unlike ICU ambulance, ventilator support is generally not required.

Doctor-accompanied ambulance service is designed for patient transfers that require medical oversight and intervention capability beyond standard ambulance transport. Physician accompaniment is vital during transfers of post-surgical patients who are stable but at risk, individuals with cardiac conditions, and patients under active medication therapy.
At Nova Ambulans, a specialist physician appropriate to the case is assigned for our doctor-accompanied ambulance service. Specialist doctors such as emergency medicine physicians, cardiologists, or pediatricians monitor the patient throughout transfer and provide active medical intervention when needed. A doctor-approved transfer report is issued for all transports.
