How do you plan an intercity patient transfer?
We follow a 4-step process: (1) you share the date, patient status, and destination; (2) we plan the route and assign the right crew; (3) we send the plan for your approval; (4) we keep you updated until the transfer day. Companion seating is arranged during planning.
Can a companion travel in the ambulance?
If the patient’s condition allows, we can safely take one companion in the ambulance. They need to remain seated with a seat belt on and follow the medical team’s instructions. For transfers linked to a flight, our team also helps organise the companion’s travel.
How is the price calculated?
Pricing is based on three components: (1) a call-out/opening fee, (2) per-kilometre distance, and (3) any extras you request (additional medical staff, special equipment, ferry/toll costs). You receive a written quote with every cost item before approval — no hidden fees. Payment is typically deposit at booking, balance at departure.
Which documents are required?
