Qualifications and requirements

  • Hold one of these titles: emergency medical technician (EMT), anesthesia technician/technologist, midwife or community health officer.
  • Hold the relevant diploma or graduation certificate (an e-Devlet printout is accepted).
  • Be able to work a 24/48 shift pattern.
  • Not be in intern/student status.
  • Be adaptable to heavy traffic and field conditions in Istanbul, maintaining composure during crises.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out medical procedures for patients and injured persons in ambulances under team leader coordination, within the scope of your authority and responsibilities.
  • Maintain patient and injury records; log procedures in the ambulance case record form as they are performed.
  • Support the team during patient handover at the hospital and help ensure all steps are recorded in the Emergency Health Automation System (ASOS).
  • Prepare and count the ambulance and medical supplies each day together with the team.
  • Wear the regulation uniform showing your title during duty and visibly carry your identification card.
